From horse to fully electronic harvester
Peter Clohse, together with sons Felix and Dieter, started working as timber extractors using the traditional horse-drawn method back in 1973. Together they have taken part in a number of timber extraction competitions using horses, gaining an excellent reputation in the Belgian Ardennes region. They were later joined by sons José and Heinz.
In a few short years the small timber extraction business developed into a medium-sized forestry company with over 10 employees. Felix Clohse died unexpectedly on 23 July 1999, leaving the company in the hands of the three remaining brothers.
